Riverside Archers are a small, friendly archery club of junior and senior archers aged between 10yrs and 80+yrs, with a wide range of abilities. Based in the North-east, at Ryton-on-Tyne Comprehensive School, we meet at the school on Sunday afternoons.
In the winter we shoot indoors in the sports hall and then move outdoors onto the school field for the summer.
For anyone who is interested in trying out this enjoyable sport, we run 6 week beginner's courses during the 'Indoor' season, led by one of our qualified coaches . These courses give all the basic instruction on technique and safety standards, so that the budding archer can progress in the sport with confidence - and hopefully much personal success!
