Ryton-on-Tyne
From a standing start at the beginning of her first season, Kimberly spectacularly gained her Junior Bowman on the 27th September during our last outdoor shoot with some excellent shooting.

Ann is keeping the handicap and classification records open in the event of any further outdoor scores before the end of the year.
Club Competitions
It was great to see so many members take part in, and enjoy, the club competitions this year. Surprisingly for the summer this year, we had three successive Sundays of decent shooting weather, with a limited amount of Tyne valley wind!
The American round shot for the open tournament proved very popular, with several requests that we try to shoot an American a couple of times next outdoor season.

October 2009
At the first indoor competition of the year at Greenlane Able and Disabled Archers in Newbiggin Ann Conifey won the Ladies Longbow. Later on the same day, at the club, Ian Norwood shot his second ‘Robin Hood’,destroying two more arrows!
What a fantastic end to the outdoor season it has been. As well as the club competitions there have been plenty of other achievements at Riverside.

Jim Maughan Trophy
Sam once again won the trophy in August only to have to give it up to Kimberly who won the trophy in September.

Classifications and Handicap
With the indoor season looming, September & October offers the final realistic chance to get that last classification and handicap score.
There have been many fantastic improvements in handicaps within the last winter’s intake of members and some great improvements from existing members.
